Reaching the summit with CodePath
Event Identity
CodePath Summit brings together thousands of college students to develop their technical skills, learn from industry professionals, and build connections that help launch their careers. With its annual conference approaching, CodePath sought a refreshed event identity that would resonate with emerging tech professionals while appealing to sponsors in an increasingly AI-driven industry.

The challenge was to evolve the brand without losing its connection to CodePath. The new identity needed to feel polished and forward-looking while capturing the energy of a younger audience. As a virtual event, Summit also needed a flexible visual system that could scale across web, digital, and motion applications.

The brief
CodePath Summit needed to feel like a distinct event identity within the brand ecosystem while maintaining a clear connection to its parent brand.Drawing inspiration from the asterisk in CodePath’s primary logo, I developed an arrow-shaped mark that signals movement, progress, and forward momentum.

The visual system builds on CodePath’s established brand colors, using a gradient to carry through the parent brand’s existing visual language. Glassmorphism adds a contemporary, dimensional texture to select elements, extending a visual treatment used across recent applications. Together, these elements create a polished, contemporary aesthetic that feels distinctly Summit while remaining rooted in CodePath.

Continuing the exploration
Shortly after the event logo was approved, the project was paused. Although the broader rollout did not move forward, I continued exploring the identity through a series of self-initiated applications and concepts. The following concepts explore how the visual system could extend across the event experience.
